How does the inventory remain accurate if someone places a store pickup order?

When someone places a store pickup order, the inventory remains accurate by updating the product availability in real time. HotWax Commerce syncs the inventory levels between HotWax Commerce and Shopify, considering factors such as safety stock, threshold, reserved quantity, orders in the brokering queue, and excluded facilities. The “Available to Promise (ATP)” is calculated based on these factors, and the updated inventory is pushed to Shopify. This ensures that the inventory reflects the actual availability of products for both online and in-store orders.
